Immerse yourself in a world of adventure and learning that goes far beyond the basics of general diving. Our diving school offers an extensive range of courses that are accessible to all divers. Whether Intro to Tech, Advanced Nitrox or Decompression Procedure – expand your skills with our specialized courses and rediscover the fascinating underwater world. Our experienced diving instructors will accompany you every step of the way and ensure that you are well prepared and can safely explore new depths.
Prerequisite for all TEC courses are a main regulator with a long hose (“Long Hose”, 210 cm), a backup regulator with a short hose (“Short Hose”, incl. neck strap) and a backplate wing system. Backmount divers are always equipped with a double tank (two 12 litre). Depending on the course, additional equipment may be required. You will find more information on this directly in the course information. Of course, additional equipment can be rented from us.
Intro to Tech
Introduction
The Intro to Tech course is the foundation for technical diving. In particular, the theory covers the basics of equipment and dive planning. In practice, specific equipment configurations, diffenrent finning techniques, trim, position and skills are taught. Not only are all exercises practised in the prone position, but now with an increased focus on the partner and their environment, all skills and abilities must be mastered in a controlled manner in safe control of the diver, even in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
The theoretical and practical content of this course is ideal preparation for the TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and the TDI Decompression Procedure Diver courses. The maximum depth for this course is 23 metres.
Course content
This course includes an insight into dive planning, preparation and selection of the correct equipment as well as buddy check and bubble check, gas tuning by mastering S.T.A.R.T, trim, fin stroke techniques, body positioning and diving skills, overall demonstration on planning and executing dives.
Course prerequisites
Minimum age 18 years (15 years with parental consent)
Minimum certification: Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent
Minimum 25 Open Water dives
Course duration
A minimum of 3 dives must be completed; All dives must be at the depth of the diver’s current certification level, but no dive should exceed 23 metres.
If the TDI Intro to Tech course is taught in conjunction with the TDI Advanced Nitrox course, a total of 4 dives are required.
The minimum number of hours of instruction and familiarisation is 6h.
What’s in for you
Graduates may dive in the technical configuration without direct supervision provided that:
– the diving activities are equivalent to those of the training
– Upon successful completion of this course, the prerequisites for the following courses are achieved: TDI Advanced Nitrox Course, TDI Decompression Procedure Course.
Services included:
3 dives with D12 (double tank) including wing and regulator, certification card
Price with rental equipment: 380 EUR
Decompression Procedures
Introduction
This course covers theory, methods and practice of decompression dives. This programme is designed as a stand-alone course or it can be completed in conjunction with TDI Advanced Nitrox or TDI Sidemount. The aim of this course is to teach divers how to plan and execute a standardised decompression dive of no more than 45 metres of water depth. The most common equipment requirements, equipment set-up and decompression techniques are introduced. Students may use enriched air nitrox (EAN) mixtures or oxygen for decompression – provided the gas mixture is within their current certification level.
Course content
Decompression dive planning, tables vs. personal dive computers, emergency and contingency planning (equipment failure, skipped decompression etc.). Decompression procedures, pre-dive checks and drills, stress analysis and mitigation following a decompression plan, gas exchange, team awareness and communication, SMB/heave bag use, proper trim, buoyancy and finning techniques, emergency response (equipment failures, gas loss, omitted decompression, navigation errors, etc.) Equipment considerations, tank identification, nitrox mix analysis and gas mixing procedures.
Course prerequisites
Minimum age 18 years
Minimum certification: SDI Advanced Adventure Diver, Advanced Diver or equivalent.
Proof of 25 logged open water dives
Course duration
4 dives are required, of which 2 dives must be deeper than 30 metres.
If the TDI Decompression Procedures course is taught in conjunction with the TDI Advanced Nitrox course, a total of 6 dives are required
The minimum number of hours of instruction is 6h
What’s in for you
Graduates may perform decompression dives to 45 metres without direct supervision if:
– the diving activities correspond to those of the training
– the activity areas correspond to those of the training
– the environmental conditions are similar to those of the course
Upon successful completion of this course, the prerequisites for the following courses are achieved: TDI Advanced Nitrox Course.
Services included:
4 dives with D12 (double tank) including stages and regulator, certification card
Price with rental equipment: 450 EUR
Advanced Nitrox
Introduction
This course is for the use of EAN 21 up to 100 percent oxygen for BestMix blends to a depth of 40 metres. The objective of this course is to qualify divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using EAN-21 up to 100 percent oxygen for dives that do not require staged decompression. The TDI Advanced Nitrox is also a prerequisite for SCR or CCR divers.
Course content
TDI Advanced Nitrox starts where TDI Nitrox ended and gives a deeper insight into diving with Nitrox. This includes: physics and physiology, in relation to diving with gas mixtures containing more than 40% oxygen. Gas planning, dive tables, dive computers, oxygen limits, nitrogen limits, equipment procedures, tank labelling, analysis of Nitrox mixtures, mixing procedures and necessary procedures for using equipment for mixtures containing more than 40% oxygen.
Course prerequisites
Minimum age 18 years (15 years with written consent of parent or guardian).
Minimum certification: TDI Nitrox diver or equivalent
Proof of at least 25 logged dives
Course duration
4 dives are required with a minimum cumulative bottom time of 100 minutes.
If the TDI Advanced Nitrox course is taught in conjunction with the TDI Decompression Procedures course, a total of 6 dives are required, with a maximum depth of 45 metres.
The minimum number of hours of instruction and familiarisation is 6h.
