Gregor has been the owner of the dive centre and Director of Diving since 2022.

Born and raised in Westphalia, he worked as an IT specialist in logistics and has made his hobby of diving his second profession. Whenever it was possible for him and he collected enough overtime and holidays, he supported the dive centre in all areas since 2020. Gregor is i.a.c. Instructor Trainer and CMAS 3 Star instructor as well as SDI/TDI instructor.

Whether night dives, wrecks or training – he loves water.

After countless holidays in all seas, he’s always drawn back to Gozo.

Laura has been the Nautic Team’s Office Manager since May 2018 and has taken over the business in 2022. She is primarily responsible for all “dry areas” of diving.

Whether by email, phone or in person – she looks after your holiday from the first enquiry to the farewell. She originally worked in real estate, but discovered her love for diving in Gozo in 2017.

After many years as an auditor’s assistant in Germany, our northern light Holger turned his hobby into his profession in 2015.

In 2011 he was still diving as a guest in Gozo and completed his training as a technical diver according to TDI – since 2017 he has now been working as a diving instructor in Gozo during the main season from May to November and has made approx. 1500 dives “around the rock”.

As an i.a.c. Instructor Trainer, SSI DiveMaster Instructor in Platinum Status and Pro NRC Nitrox Instructor he has trained more than 500 students.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a Try Dive or OWD training to deep, wreck or ice diving (rather in the north), the main thing is water – and it doesn’t matter if it’s the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands, South Africa, the Philippines to Norway, Denmark or Germany. It should just be relaxed, even in a current.

Sophie is 23 years old and a true member of the Nautic Team family. She obtained her first diving certification with us at the age of 11 and continued to develop her skills in the following years. In 2023, she finally decided to become a diving professional, and since this year, she has also relocated to Gozo.

As a genuine Gozo enthusiast, Sophie is not only an expert on all dive sites but also excels in handling large groups and clubs, ensuring they are in best hands.

Sarah is 23 years old and comes from the southern part of Germany. That is also where she started diving in 2015.

Since then she has been on the go a lot – whether it´s the Great Barrier Reef, the Red Sea, the Coral Triangle, the Coast of Zanzibar or German lakes – she can tell you all about it.
In 2018, Sarah completed her instructor training in the Phillipines and the Netherlands. She is an Open Water Scuba Instructor with a range of diffrent specialties.

In her daily life Sarah is a Uni Studnet studying Agriculture Biology. She regularly supports our team during her semester break.

Sarah is always in a good mood and there is always something to laugh about with her, even underwater.

Andreas is from Lübeck, nothern Germany and has been diving since the mid-1980s.

After 45 years with a major transportation service provider and working in various fields, he is finally looking forward to retirement and in need of a new challenge.

Now it is time for him to pass on his knowledge as an aspiring diving instructor. As the Baltic Sea has become too cold for him, he now has a permanent residence in Gozo and supports our team.

Peanut has been a member of the Nautic Team since June 2022 and has finally found a home again after roaming around our town for weeks. In the team, he is primarily responsible for the cuddles.

When he’s not taking one of his 20-hour naps, he sits at the front door and greets guests and passers-by or poses for group photos.

Thomas Zurawski and Heike Merz-Zurawski founded the Dive Center in 1994 and handed over the business in 2022.

Thomas, born in Essen- Katernberg, is a trained locksmith and technician for the mining industry. Heike, born in South Germany (Engen/Hegau), a trained banker and BBA.

Thomas’ diving credentials: CMAS/IAC Course Director and TEC Course Director, as well as a state-approved Sports-Diving-Instructor. Specialises in Technical, Cavern & Cave as well as Wreck Diving.

Heike’s Diving credentials: CMAS Instructor **, IDDA Instructor (International Disabled Divers Association) , VDST / CMAS UW-Photography Instructor **,
Instructor for children and Oceanology.
